— Terms & conditions

The agreement.

Last updated: 2026-02-17

These Terms govern your use of Cupiduo — the web application and related services operated by [Company name pending registration] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you accept these Terms.

1. The service

Cupiduo is a relationship-companion app. It offers AI-generated advice, weekly plans, mood and partner-rating tracking, an optional cycle calendar, and a marketplace of partner-curated experiences. Features may evolve; we will not materially reduce paid features without notice.

2. Who can use Cupiduo

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract in your country of residence. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your account

Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at privacy@cupiduo.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. AI guidance is not professional advice

Cupiduo's suggestions are generated by AI and informed by patterns you log (love language, cycle phase, mood, ratings). They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are struggling with your mental or physical health, please consult a qualified professional. Cycle predictions are statistical estimates — they are not contraception and should not be used as such.

5. User content

Anything you log (mood notes, ratings, to-do items, wishlist, cycle history) belongs to you. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence solely to host and display it as part of the service. We do not sell your content. Aggregated, fully anonymised statistics may be used to improve product recommendations.

6. Pairing & shared data

When you pair with a partner, they will see the rating you give them, mutual streak data, and (where applicable) your cycle calendar. Wishlist items, mood journal entries, and to-do ideas remain private to you. You can unpair at any time from Settings; doing so stops future sharing but does not retroactively erase past entries already visible to your former partner.

7. Subscriptions & billing

Cupiduo offers a free trial followed by an optional paid subscription processed by Stripe. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable VAT. Renewal is automatic at the end of each billing period until you cancel from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — no pro-rata refund for unused days.

Refunds. Refunds are at our reasonable discretion. If something is clearly broken or you were double-charged, write to privacy@cupiduo.com and we'll review case-by-case.

EU 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting to use the digital service immediately after subscribing, you agree that the 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU is waived for the digital content already delivered.

8. Marketplace

Listings on the marketplace are provided by independent merchants. Cupiduo is not a party to any booking or transaction you arrange with a merchant and does not guarantee their offerings. Disputes should be resolved directly with the merchant; we will assist where reasonably possible.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use Cupiduo to harass, threaten, defame, or unlawfully harm anyone (including your partner). Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the service, scrape data, or circumvent rate limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account on reasonable notice for material breach, fraud, or where required by law. On termination, paid services end at the close of the current billing period.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded under EU consumer law.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where [Company name pending registration] is established, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date marks the revision. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new Terms.
